Our Expenses
SF Pink Door operates on a monthly budget of $2,000. We believe in transparency about where our funds go, which helps our community understand the importance of their support.
Rent: $1,500/month (75%)
Utilities: $200/month (10%)
(power, internet, trash, water)
Equipment & Repairs: $300/month (15%)
Our largest expense is rent, which secures our dedicated space in San Francisco's SoMa district. 100% of all contributions are reinvested back into the community space. We exist to support the community, not to extract profits from artists. Every dollar helps us maintain affordable access, upgrade equipment, and create a better experience for everyone who walks through our door.
Our Supporters
SF Pink Door is sustained by two primary groups of supporters who make our work possible:
Pro Members
Our highest level of sustainers who support our community building efforts and enjoy private access for rehearsals, practicing, and recording.
Community Supporters
These supporters help keep our focus on building community events. Community Supporters are critical in ensuring we're incentivized to support inclusive programming.
Pro Members: $600/month
Community Supporters: $25/month
Deficit: $1,375/month
Why Your Support Matters
Your contributions directly help us ensure we can:
- Keep our space available for community events
- Maintain affordable membership options
- Invest in better equipment for everyone to use
- Create a sustainable model for artist-run spaces
